Famous at Night is a sports-filled chapter book series created to give kids exciting stories they want to pick up and a reading experience that helps them keep turning the pages.

Not every child finds their way to chapter books at the same time. Some get there early. Some need a little more time. And some simply haven't found the story that makes them want to keep reading.

As a child, I struggled with reading myself. Years later, I began watching my own son navigate many of those same challenges. I saw how quickly reading could become less about enjoying a story and more about comparing himself to what everyone else was reading.

I wanted something different.

I wanted him, and other kids finding their own way as readers, to be able to pick up a chapter book about something they loved, turn the pages independently, and experience that incredible feeling:
